Who We Are

The Caribbean Institute of Criminology & Criminal Justice (CICCJ) is a hybrid research, consulting, and capacity-building institute dedicated to advancing education transformation, justice research, organizational resilience, and community well-being across Canada, Jamaica, the United States, and the global Black diaspora.

We work at the intersection of systems, institutions, and communities — strengthening schools, nonprofits, and public-interest organizations through evidence-informed frameworks, culturally grounded solutions, and practical consulting. Our approach integrates research, data analysis, policy insight, leadership development, and continuous improvement to create measurable, durable, and scalable impact.

Through specialized initiatives such as B-CORE™ (Black Community Organizational Resilience Engine), CICCJ also supports Black-led nonprofits and community institutions to move from survival to sustainability by strengthening governance, leadership, accountability, and funder readiness.
