About the Caribbean Institute of Criminology & Criminal Justice (CICCJ)
The Caribbean Institute of Criminology & Criminal Justice (CICCJ) is a hybrid research, consulting, and education transformation institute dedicated to improving learning outcomes, strengthening communities, advancing justice research, and supporting system-wide improvement across Jamaica, Canada, the United States, and the global diaspora.
CICCJ integrates evidence-based research, culturally grounded strategies, and practical consulting solutions that address the complex social, educational, and community challenges affecting schools, youth, families, and organizations. Our work spans educational transformation, youth development, criminology, policy analysis, and community engagement.

His work focuses on advancing educational equity, strengthening leadership, supporting school transformation, building community capacity, and integrating evidence-based practices into real-world solutions.
Dr. Gilling’s leadership has shaped initiatives in school improvement, diaspora-led engagement, youth development, governance, and justice-informed community programming. CICCJ reflects his commitment to equity, belonging, empowerment, and sustainable social change. Contact Dr. Gilling
